PGTC 2026 features two categories of competitions:

No. All team members must come from the same university. However, participants may come from different faculties or study programs within the same university.

Participants are only allowed to join one main national competition (EDC or EIC). However, they may still participate in the regional competitions under the Energy AdSport Challenge (EAC) held during the campus roadshow.

For EDC and EIC, all competition materials, including debates, papers, and presentations, must be conducted in English. For Energy AdSport Challenge (EAC), the language used will follow the format and rules of each competition in the respective regions.
